President's Message
To the Members of the Palm Beach Republican Club,
I was heartbroken to hear the news of the passing of our dear friend, patriot, and brother in Christ, Charlie Kirk. His loss is deeply felt not only within our club and community, but across the nation and the world.
I had the privilege of knowing Charlie when he was just starting out, a young man on fire for freedom, for truth, and for God. I hosted him many times in my home in Palm Beach. Even in those early days, Charlie’s passion and clarity of purpose were unmistakable. He knew he was called to something greater, and he stepped into that calling with courage and conviction.
That legacy touched my own family deeply. My son, Charles Jr., had the opportunity to work with Charlie and TPUSA to launch a high school chapter at St. Andrew’s School in Boca Raton. It was a powerful experience, one that planted seeds of leadership, critical thinking, and faith in the next generation.
Charlie was more than just a political voice. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and above all, a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. He lived a life rooted in purpose, guided by a passion to serve God and speak truth in a time when truth is often ridiculed. He wanted every individual to know their identity in Christ and to become sovereign, free-thinking individuals connected to their Creator.
As the founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie changed the landscape of political discourse on college campuses and beyond. His bold leadership ignited a movement of young people who are now standing firm in their values, seeking truth, and unashamedly proclaiming their faith. He had an extraordinary ability to debate with clarity, conviction, and civility, always willing to engage those who disagreed, not to conquer them, but to awaken them.
Charlie stood for freedom, for our Constitution, and for the foundational principles this great country was built on by our Founding Fathers. He believed in sacred spaces over safe spaces, in dialogue over division, and in faith over fear. Our future depends on men and women of God who will stare evil in the eye and speak truth to power.
In this time of mourning, we also find strength in Scripture. Let us remember the promise of 2 Timothy 4:7:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Charlie Kirk fought the good fight. Let us honor his legacy by continuing the mission he so boldly championed.
With love and resolve,
Amanda Schumacher – President
